The Catalyst Fund Matching Gift Campaign

Now is the time to donate and make twice the impact: Help us match a $50,000 gift by the end of 2024!

Pollinator Partnership’s (P2) founding employee, Laurie Davies Adams, has generously created a foundational legacy with a gift match donation of $50,000. After 28 years, Laurie will be stepping back from staff duties while remaining on the Board of Directors. Her vision is that this matching gift will generate new funds for P2, ensuring long-term support for pollinators. Every first-time or increased donation made or pledged now through December 31, 2024 will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Please join Laurie to grow the Catalyst Fund - Creating a strong foundation for a brighter future.

This is a critical time to help pollinators. In February, the eastern monarch overwintering estimates in Mexico was released, noting a significant decrease in the area occupied by monarchs this winter. Additionally, native bees are facing a range of serious threats, from habitat loss to climate change to invasive species to increasing pests and diseases. At the same time, Pollinator Partnership’s innovative programs are providing a positive counterbalance to these threats. Your donations to the Catalyst Fund will help provide critical, long-term support to our conservation efforts for years to come. This fund will support habitat and engagement in agricultural lands, monarch butterfly conservation, and increased support for pollinator collaborations across North America.

If you donate today, not only is your gift matched, but you could have the following impact on both pollinators and people:

  • $1,000 = 16,000 sq ft of enhanced habitat which will, in turn, save 16,000 native bees.
  • $1,000 = 8 sponsored School Garden Kits, reaching 200 students.
  • $1,000 = 21,800 sq ft of managed pollinator habitat through Bee Friendly Farming.

Make a one-time donation today to the Catalyst Fund and double your impact! Any gift large or small can make a difference!
