Shakti Fleisher

Shakti was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she developed a lifelong love and appreciation of nature. Shakti earned a BA in English from Bryn Mawr College, a Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from University of San Francisco, and an accounting certificate from UC Berkeley Extension. Her nonprofit experience ranges from supporting education for underserved Oakland youth to vocational training and women’s empowerment in rural India. After a stint holding operations and finance roles in the for-profit sector, Shakti is over the moon about returning to her first love of nonprofit work and is especially delighted to support our pollinators and the important role they play in our environment.
