Alex Busov

Alex grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on the shores of Lake Superior, where they cultivated a deep respect and love for nature and ecology. Striving to explore the interconnectedness between issues of equity & social justice and the unfurling climate crisis, Alex received their Bachelors of Arts in Environmental Studies, with a specialization in Environmental Justice and Policy, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2022. Their past experiences involved the fields of invasive species management, community development, and sustainable food systems. Alex moved to San Francisco early in 2023 to start their career, to be closer to their older sibling, and to enjoy the natural wonders that are ever abundant in the Bay Area.
