NAPPC GrantsUSDA Conservation Reserve Program (CRP)
A voluntary program that encourages agricultural producers and landowners to convert highly erodible and other environmentally sensitive acreage to vegetative cover, such as native grasses, trees, and riparian buffers. By enrolling in CRP, participants receive annual rental payments and cost-share assistance to establish long-term, resource-conserving vegetative covers.
CRPUSDA Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP)
An offshoot of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), administered by the Farm Service Agency (FSA) in partnership with states, Tribal governments, and non-governmental organizations.
CREPNRCS Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP)
Protects, restores, and enhances wetlands, grazing lands, and agricultural and conservation values of farms and ranches through conservation easements.
ACEPNRCS Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP)
Receive annual payments and develop a conservation plan one-on-one with NRCS to implement practices that enhance clean air and water, soil health, wildlife habitat, and agricultural operations.
CSPNRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP)
NRCS’ flagship conservation program that helps farmers, ranchers and forest landowners integrate conservation into working lands through financial and technical assistance. Addresses water and air quality, water conservation, soil health and erosion, wildlife habitat, and drought and climate resiliency.
EQIPNRCS Working Lands for Wildlife (WLFW)
Technical and financial assistance for voluntary improvements to working lands that supports wildlife habitat and connectivity while assisting with navigating the Endangered Species Act regulations.
WLFWUSFWS Partners for Fish and Wildlife
Technical and financial assistance to improve wildlife habitat including restorations of forest, prairie, wetland, and stream habitats focused on supporting federal trust species including migratory birds, endangered, threatened and at-risk species.
Partners for Fish and Wildlife
