Bees

  1. Bumblebee (Bombus sp.)

  1. Rufous hummingbird (Selasphorus rufus)

Beetles

  1. Checkered beetles (Cleridae): (top to bottom) Trichodes nutalli, Trichodes ornatus, Pelonides humeralis (right one on the frame)
  2. Flower beetles (Malachiinae): Anthocomus rufus (the left one on the lower frame).

Flies

  1. Flower fly (Syrphidae): (next to the cartoon) Helophilus fasciatus (or something similar)
    --the ones on the winterberry are generic calyptrates (houseflies, tachinids, bottleflies, etc.).
