POLLINATOR PORTRAITS PHOTO CONTEST
THE TOP 2 PHOTOGRAPHERS!
Congratulations to the two grand prize winners that both won brand new cameras! It was a tough decision for the 2010 Pollinator Portrait High School Photo Contest.
Kimber WassenbergNikon D90 with a 60mm Micro lens King William, VA "I took these photos on a cold October morning. The bees were all over the butterfly bushes in our front yard and they were not moving, since the sun had not heated the earth up sufficiently enough. I then took 57 pictures of them using my new Micro lens so I could get up close and personal with the bees...I loved how my lens could capture every characteristic of the bee!" |
